Our organization is a smaller non-profit organization (<100 employees), and communication between the small departments is vital. For me, the phone ecosystem is mainly used to reach other coworkers in a prompt and convenient fashion -- it's not always a guarantee someone will be at their desk, so it's much quicker to give them a quick call to see if they're available than walk over to their office only to find they have been pulled away for a different task. Often times in our workplace, sudden things come up, so it would be hard to work around those without the peer communication feature. Occasionally I do also have to speak with guests over the phone, but the main use in my position is for other staff.
  • ease of use
  • accessible tech support
  • simple design
  • short code feature is fantastic
  • If there is a way to improve the distinction between Transfer and Blind Transfer, I think that would lead to less mistakes when transferring calls. Maybe having them color-coded, or having distinct symbols next to each option to differentiate them more clearly
  • Option to disable instant calling from the redial/missed call menu. I notice if I have highlighted a call from those menus, picking up the phone causes it to dial immediately. Sometimes it's not my intention to call -- maybe I am looking up the number for later reference and currently need to make a different call (in fact this is mainly the case). So while it is a convenient feature and I understand why it is included, it isn't something I use and the ability to toggle it would be nice.
  • A customizable ringtone or library of optional approved ringtones would help too. In my area there are multiple phones and though we can change the pitch and speed, they're still somewhat similar. A stark difference in ringtones would be helpful.
Broadvoice is extremely robust and well-suited for a variety of contexts, but I think it excels best in tighter-knit work environments where contacting each other is the main use as opposed to receiving many incoming calls from outside guests.

There have been a few instances where I think the features would conflict with user intention -- namely, having a number linked to two different phones, but one phone was meant more for receiving outside calls and the other was an office phone in the same area. Because of this, if a guest called, it would disturb the office, but if a vendor called, the guest phone would also ring, leading to confusion. I think this is an instance of the peer ecosystem conflicting with a more customer-facing need, but if a peer line needed to contact that department, it is best to have both of them ring.

We purchased Broadvoice for office/school phones. The initial phone set up went fairly smoothly (God Bless Carlos). When we started to install our phones it became obvious fairly early on that we did not have the bandwidth support for the system. The support we received from Broadvoice to rectify that issue took longer than we hoped but the end result has been worth the wait. We are now all set up and fully operational. I have used the Support desk several times and they have been great.

  • Make sure the customer has everything they need to support the system
  • More "hands on" training
Our previous phone system was not great. We had not had VOIP before. Our Broadvoice phones offer so many new and improved options that we didn't have before. The option of easily changing the phone message is very nice. The list of Received Calls is very useful when looking for a phone number - we have used that several times.

We use Broadvoice as our primary telephone communication system for our business. We utilize both the physical phones and the online system - which is FABULOUS! We are able to route calls, setup auto attendants, setup VIP callers, etc. There is a wide range of capabilities that we customize (as a company AND per USER)!
  • Online portal options for entire company AND individual lines
  • Customer service - friendly and extremely responsive
  • Love that voicemails can be routed to email for review and documentation purposes
  • Ease of use - through both portal and voice prompts on telephone
  • A more user friendly "Help" section in the Admin portal - easier to search and more information
  • Be fun to have different phone color choices - or skins somehow :)
  • Admin to be able to play user voicemails from portal
The functionality and versatility of the portal allowing you to customize the full company and individual settings of each line is top notch. Any issue that we have ever encountered (which has been very few) has been resolved quickly by the Broadvoice team. They are always quick to respond and extremely knowledgeable!

Broadvoice is our main phone system. We use it in office with our desk phones as well as working remotely with the app on our cell phones. Broadvoice allows us to have employees at home and in the office while still able to answer and make phone calls to clients. We can use the website to easily forward calls to a remote employee who does not have access to the mobile phone app
  • Clear calls
  • Ease of use
  • Hybrid work

  • Transfer calls using the mobile app
Broadvoice has made hybrid work almost seamless, other than being able to transfer calls to coworkers

We use Broadvoice for making and recieving calls with our clients in two ways. 1. We use our wifi office phones with no issues or dropped calls and 2. We use the free B-Hive mobile app that syncs to our company number so you can have your office number wherever you go. If you don't want to give your personal number out this is a great alternative. You can receive and make calls through your phone, and it will appear as if you are in the office.
  • Friendly Phone Customer Service
  • Help with Step-by-Step setup
  • Great service / coverage
  • User Friendly
  • Email responses are a little slow
  • Shipping could be a little faster
  • Provide headsets when you purchase the phone
I needed to go out in the field to support our crew and was able to receive calls to my office phone through my cell phone.

As fist time business owners, we didn't how to coordinate for phone service. We were recommended to reach out to Broadvoice (BV). We didn't know much but quickly realized how simple and easy BV made everything. When it comes to this type of service, most people are more concerned with quick and timely support services. Simply put, BV was all that and more. They managed getting our equipment to us and even after many years, they sent us updated equipment so that we'd stay current so as to not disrupt our business. I would definitely recommend BV to any business owner. We are still with them and they are still helpful as always.
  • BV ensured as technology improved, they would ensure business' got the most current equipment
  • They designed their account to be simple for customers to understand and not so complicated to where you have no idea what you are looking at like most business services.
  • Support, we only needed to call BV maybe 3-5 times for minor issue and got quick support and great follow up when they had to get back to us.
  • All-in-All, I'd say it's about customer service these days and BV does a great job.
  • I'm sure there area some but for our business, BV has pretty much got everything covered for us.
I can't think of much where it's less appropriate except with internet goes down. In that case, we're all suffering at that point. However, when you're out and about you can have your office call forwarded directly to your cell phone and not miss a call. The caller would think they called your office number. Also, you can have establish a business number and use an app on your phone to call clients and it would show up as your business on their end. I think that is so cool.

We are an outdoor power equipment dealer, and we use Broadvoice for our phone systems. We had 3 phones installed on the counter, one in an office, and plan to install another later on. We previously used Google Voice, and while it was a great service, we quickly outgrew it. Broadvoice has improved our communication with our customers, and internally.
  • Customer service.
  • Ease of learning the system.
  • Product support.
  • No complaints as of now.
Broadvoice has been very well suited to handle the scale of phone systems we need, without charging the business for additional services that do not add value to our business. I am confident that Broadvoice allows us to scale our system alongside the business as we grow.

Broadvoice allows our organization to quickly change our business hours. So when we are having an event outside of normal business hours and need to attend to the phone, we can change the business hours in the system allowing the phones to ring and not go to auto-attend. It also allows us to go mobile so we can take calls away from the office. We can even take our desk phone home to use, all we need is a Wi-Fi connection.
  • Excellent customer service
  • Setting up the new system was quick and painless
  • Quality onboarding support
Broadvoice is well suited for remote work and any instance where one needs to have the flexibility of having easy access to work calls outside of the office. It offers a great way to take calls on your cell without everyone having to have your cell number.

Broadvoice gives us the platform to connect with customers from anywhere using various platforms. Voice, text, video ... On mobile, desk phones, computers. Competitive pricing, no nickel and dime up sells and sould as a rock. While the mobile could be improved, they are always making it better ... and we like that they are always active on it. Support is fantastic and rarely do we wait on hold ... with very good first call resolution and some times nice off unique solutions that apply to the business. Texting is a nice no extra charge feature, but texting at at a better price for the main company number is needed.

Stand alone phone system per site. All incoming calls route through this system for each site, from 3-15 phones. Auto attendant, IVR, while the teams use the entire platform from the handset, desktop app, and mobile app while on the go. We have had zero issues with any of our deployments and cost effectiveness is amazing from small to large compared to other VoIP solutions. You are also treated like a real person no matter the deployment size and save over traditional voice solutions as well.
  • Customer service
  • New bids
  • Tech support
  • AA ring type- we solved but the scope is limited
  • Variety of handsets resold directly
From small to large they fit perfect scaling up and down as needed. Customer service when actually needed was amazing, along with the project management team when deploying a solution or solutions at the same time across various states (actual multi-state deployments). It has been great working with them on everything even when we did have an issue they got it fixed ASAP

It's our company phone system.
  • B-Hive app is great, easy to use
  • Mobile app is really nice. I have my calls ring at both my desk and mobile so I don't miss important calls when I step away from my desk.
  • Great customer support. The difference between our old phone provider who was non US based and Broadvoice is remarkable.
  • I am Administrator for the phones. I wished there was a manual to use for reference.
The sales and onboarding process when we transitioned to Broadvoice was very professional and well managed. When little issues cropped up, they were well handled and caused no stress or strain on me.

We use Broadvoice for our phone and fax service. We are able to communicate our clients via phone and send private and protected health information with fax capability. Broadvoice is definitely well suited for small businesses. We are a small firm who is growing and Broadvoice has been able to meet our telecommunication needs seemingly pretty easy. We've never had an issue with clarity of calls and any service disruption has been typically pretty brief. I would imagine that more rural areas where internet isn't as dependable would potentially not be the ideal place for Broadvoice.

This is especially when our phones are down due to internet issues - we are able to answer calls through this app. It is also useful when we are making calls from somewhere other than the workplace - it shows the call coming from the work place - not our personal number.
  • ability to answer calls remotely at any time
  • ability to answer calls when our physical phone system is down
  • ability to make calls without doing it from our personal line
  • setting away messages is cumbersome
  • there are several apps that work with the system and we have not been able to be consistent with everyone using (and it working for all) the same app
Broadvoice is excellent for someone working remotely but doesn't want to reveal that information to others. You can answer and make calls without the other party knowing you are not in the physical office.

Setting up different voicemail messages to answer when you are out of office is very cumbersome.

We have about 175 users spread throughout the state. Some work from home and some work in one of our nine locations. Even before COVID we needed a phone system that was easy to setup and that was mobile. We started using Broadvoice in 2018 after moving away from an on-prem phone system. Broadvoice was able to bring over all of our call flows and phone numbers making it easy for us to migrate over from the existing system.
  • Easy portal interface
  • Helpful tech support
  • SD-WAN solution that works well
  • Mobile app needs to be revamped in my opinion.
  • Getting additional phones that are programmed takes too long I believe.
I think that for the majority of features, Broadvoice does a good job. They make migration very easy when porting over complicated call flows. Most staff, even non-technical staff are able to navigate the portal pretty easily. For users who use the mobile app, they seem to have a hard time with dropped calls and features that are not available on the physical phone in my experience.

We have switched majority of our communities to Broadvoice. Maintaining/updating the system in a centralized portal is convenient and very easy to do.
  • Reliable Service - Don't recall downtimes during business hours in the past 1.5 years of service at 50+ Locations
  • Centralized Portal - Ability to maintain all 50+ locations from one platform/login.
  • Quick customer service/tech support. If an issue arises (rarely), tech support is on it and generally solved in minutes. Also, being routed from one person to another over a period of 2 hours like with other voice providers does NOT exist here.
  • Better Reporting/Auditing across locations/sites.
  • Easier Managed billing across locations/sites.
I only deal with sites that have a handful off people, but we have our system setup as if they were all combined, so I could see this being a great fit for any scenario whether they are a single person office or 500+ employees.

Broadvoice is our phone system installed roughly 2 years ago. Hands on ability to monitor each user and voicemails is key when needed. Ability to change greetings is also a feature we use regularly. Offering forwarding to cell is a key problem that Broadvoice addresses.
  • Customer Service is top notch
  • User ability to change greetings & office hours very helpful
  • Ability to change visible lines on each phone / program speed dials is good
  • None - haven't had any issues that weren't easily fix
We as a company are very happy with Broadvoice. It is an improvement over our last system. Their customer service is always quick to solve any issues - and usually it is something I should know how to do! They are patient while I work through figuring it out so I can "help myself" in the future. The lines are clear. The ring can be customized if desired. You can access from your cell phone. I had more than a few things I was trying to figure out as I was new to the office and Broadvoice became part of my job. I was trying to set-up phones, as well as voicemails. We had phones that were no longer in use and turned off, I couldn't figure out how to turn them back on again. Everything seemed to work, but it still said offline. Additionally, there were phones that should not have had voicemail attached but there were messages for those phones.
  • In my opinion, customer service goes above and beyond.
  • I think they are very knowledgeable about their products.
  • Very friendly and kind service.
  • Have an area where if someone leaves the company you can temporarily turn off their phone.
  • In my experience, the process of turning on a phone is cumbersome, having to get the IP and other information.
  • I think the website could be more user friendly. Maybe have an area where the phone information for each phone can be stored.
I think Broadvoice has the best customer service I personally have experienced. When [L...] assisted me we ran into a bunch of different issues, the voicemails were all in the wrong places and other things were mixed up in there. She asked me if she could work on the information and call me back when she was finished. She called me back and explained everything to me, and she corrected everything for me and made my life so much easier! She was fantastic!

The desktop app does not always work, sometimes it fails to dial the number. It also logs off by itself. I have tried to get support for this but I don’t get results. If someone could please call me it would be very helpful. I converted to the new Beehive and then moved back. When I moved back they increased my monthly payment by $50
  • Click to dial to the handset
  • Contact manager
  • Over bill for service
  • Not know what the product is capable of.
  • The desktop app does not work all the time in the click-to-dial feature. Sometimes it times out and requires the number to be dialed again. This has started occurring since we reinstalled Yiptel replacing Bhive.
Well, I believe that the Yiptel platform works well for most things. There are things it will not do, like texting document files, and since I have returned to Yiptel from Bhive the Desktop app does not always function. It would be helpful if the new programs would incorporate the functions of Yiptel. When they rolled out Bhive, I was told it was the same as Yiptel, only with better backend functions. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I know that Yiptel will sunset, and I will need to find a system that will do at least what Yiptel does.

We use Broadvoice for our phone service. Before Broadvoice came along, we were using Comcast Business Voice, which was okay but sometimes annoying. We paid for "caller ID," but no name ever appeared on the screen. The features on the phones we used were difficult to learn as you had to memorize a number sequence to perform an action. With Broadvoice, we have had no problems so far, "caller ID" works as it should, I am able to answer office calls from my cell phone, no matter where I am, as well as make outgoing calls from my cell & make it appear to the client I am calling from the office. I no longer have to give out my personal cell phone, which is very nice. When you receive calls, they come in from the app, which makes it very easy to identify when a client is calling versus a personal call.

  • Sometimes I have to delete the same message multiple times before it disappears from my phone.
Broadvoice has been a great investment so far! It is a cutting-edge system that allows you to handle multiple lines & provides you with many useful features. It doubles the number of lines available with the call park feature. It delivers faxes right to your email inbox, so you can choose whether to print them or not. Through their app, it enables you to answer calls no matter where you are. I highly recommend Broadvoice!
